Cemetery Grounds Maintenance

Park Lawn Corporation has an immediate, full-time opening on our Cemetery Maintenance team at our Danville Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum location.

This position requires some travel to our surrounding locations, as needed.

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for:
Completion/preparation and closure of interment site
Installs, restores and/or resets markers and monuments
– complete work orders
Executes daily assignments to maintain grounds, paths and driveways
Assisting customers
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience working on a grounds crew is preferred.
1
– 2 years of experience operating a backhoe required.
1
– 2 years of experience operating a stick shift vehicle required.
Knowledge and use of lawn equipment and general maintenance to include but not limited to mowers, trimmers, blowers.
Requires the ability to show respect and sensitivity toward client families while working in a physically demanding environment.
Ability to apply proper precautions concerning lifting and equipment use in a safe and careful manner/ability to lift minimum 50 pounds, frequently.
Ability to communicate effectively as a team.
