CATV Field Walkout Technicians: In-house or Subcontractors

We value our employee’s hard work and determination and REWARD results all while having fun!Our mission is to make life better by connecting people through innovative communication systems.We are seeking Field Walkout Technicians who will perform walkout of new or existing (as-built) cable plant following specifications provided by customer.Responsibilities• Perform new build or as-built mapping.• Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications.• Follow guidelines to provide detailed accurate route of existing or new build plant.Requirements• 2+ years of cable mapping experience a must.• Comprehensive knowledge of the fielding process with hands on experience in CATV asbuilt and new build walkouts.• Knowledge of cable design and basic construction practices of cable systems.• Ability to read and understand maps.• Strong analytical, observational, and communication skills.• Ability to learn new software and technologies.• Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, & PDF Editor.• Ability to learn new software and technologies.• Must be highly responsible and self-motivated.Additional Information• This is a full-time, production-based, position.• Perform field walkout assignments daily over varying terrain and in all weather conditions.• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.• Must be willing to travel 100%.In-house only• Company vehicle and necessary tools will be provided.• Hotel expenses covered.• Full benefit package.
