BIM/CAD Technician with Security Clearance

The BIM/CAD Technician supports project planning and execution team by creating and updating Building Information Model (BIM) for various facilities within the portfolio. Additionally, the BIM/CAD Technician supports the project management and construction teams with 2D CAD development of space plans, design intent drawings and concept designs. The BIM/CAD Technical is also involved in site surveys and creating polyline drawings for the IWMS team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Combines 3D models illustrating as-builts and capable of creating conceptual redesigns as needed.
Contributes to project requirements and assists with drawings, Statements of Work and Independent Government Cost Estimates for review and approval.
Supports facility related projects and presents information/data for a decision as to the course of action.
Coordinates required actions to support the development of projects in the planning and execution phases.
Provides expertise related to Autodesk Building Design suite including AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD, in order to assist with BIM updates.
Logs and tracks basic problems/work tickets with external product vendors or support organizations.
Analyzes business and user needs, documenting requirements.
Creates and updates polyline drawings for the IWMS system for the operations and maintenance, and space management of the facility. The following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role: Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire. An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the field
Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Building Design suite including AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
