Assembly Technician

Job Title:Assembly Technician Location:North Canton, Ohio (Canton Branch) Division:Nesco Resource Light Industrial SOME ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: Identify and assemble components such as cabinets, doors, locks, sheet metal parts and specialty builds.

Layout and perform the complete wiring and cabling of all assemblies and systems pertaining to alarm options.

Check and/or test completed units and assemblies for conformance to specifications, including the adjustment of components for proper operation and repair as required.

Handle material in and around work area, keep work area clean and equipment clean and orderly in 6S compliance.

Instruct or train others as required.

Perform other duties as required, including working on a variety of products and assisting in all forms of material handling.

Will be required to monitor quality data by TQC’s, (total quality check points identified in AI’s) and attend required training.

Filling out required forms and documentation per area of responsibility.

Basic data entry duties such as scanning bar codes and reporting production numbers
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.

Vision sufficient to read standard text.

Withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
