Aircraft Modification General Mechanic with Security Clearance

Indotronix is seeking a Aircraft Modification General Mechanic for a long term Job Opportunity in Seymour Johnson AFB,North Carolina. This role will require an active secret clearance to start. Clearance Required : Yes Job Description : * Troubleshoots and maintains F-15 aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment. * Removes and installs aircraft components. * Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems. * Adjusts, aligns, and rigs aircraft systems. * Supervises and performs aircraft jacking, lifting, and towing operations. * Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. * Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. * Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. * Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. * Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. * Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). * Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements. * Works under general direction. Required Skill Set : * 3+ years’ experience in commercial or military airplane maintenance and /or modification * Ability to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary Desired Skills Set : * F-15 maintenance experience * Modification Maintenance experience Education Qualification : * Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
