(plus time and a half AND double time!)After 10 week training period you will then be increased to $19.83 per hour!

You will then receive a $0.50 raise every 90 days until you are there for a full year!This position is with Smucker’s.

You will be working in their Bloomsburg facility, which produces dog and cat food.

This is permanent, direct hire position!

The starting salary is $17.55 per hour.

After 10 weeks, your salary will be increase to $19.83 per hour plus additional raises throughout your first year!Your job duties will involve the production of pet food.

This is a GMP facility so you must wear protective safety gear (bump camp, ear plugs, safety vest, safety glasses, hairnet, beard net) which the company provides to you.

You must provide your own steel toe/safety toe footwear and have no visible jewelry, piercings, artificial nails, or nail polish.

You also must wear a uniform for this position, which is provided by the company and also laundered by the companyYou will learn the production process, possible be trained on a forklift, and be trained to perform all functions of the production process.This is not a climate controlled facility.

It is warm in the Summer months.

You need to be comfortable being on your feet all day along with lifting, bending, twisting.

You must be able to speak and understand English, and able to perform basic math skills.Available Shifts:2 nd Shift Monday-Friday (plus overtime) 2pm-10pm *Weekend overtime every other weekend3 rd Shift Sunday-Thursday (plus overtime) 10pm-6am *Weekend overtime every other weekendIMPORTANT: This position REQUIRES overtime.

You need to expect to work 55-70+ hours per week!

If you cannot commit to mandatory overtime, this position is not for you.(you will work any weekend overtime hours during your normal shift hours)Any time worked over 8 hours in a day is paid as time and a half ($26.33 per hour!) When working overtime, it will be a 12 hour day, so you will be paid 4 hours each day over time pay!If you work 7 days in a row, the 7 th day (Sunday) will be paid as DOUBLE TIME ($35.10 per hour!)As this is a permanent, direct hire opportunity to are eligible for benefits as of day 1!

Sanitation of work area during production Sanitation of production equipment during changeovers Support production by running production equipment Verifies line safety requirements.

Read and understand product formula’s and work instructions of all filling equipment.

Set-up and verify product specifications.

Operate all line specific equipment to maintain production standards.

Disassemble/reassemble/sanitize line equipment.

Record respective line performance issues on proper paper work (downtime and production sheets).

Require high level of energy and work well with minimum of supervision.

Responsible to keep work area neat and clean.

Exercise good judgment and plan accordingly.

Assure compliance to all quality standards.

Assure compliance to all GMP requirements.

Perform all other duties as assigned.Each employee shall be aware of the importance of the element of quality in their daily job function.

The employees shall be able to comply with the cGMP’s (current Good Manufacturing Practices) section 21-CFR-110 pertaining to the manufacturing and distribution of food.

The employee should be able to maintain a constant awareness of the appropriate and proper personal hygiene for a food manufacturing facility, be able to read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WI) that produces a safe and quality product that meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations.
