Description:This is person will be working under the direction of an Engineer or Designer as a Mechanical Drafter.
They will be responsible for drafting MEP building systems (such as HVAC systems, piping, electrical, lighting) for construction documents from redlines and existing ” As built” drawings.
Types of projects will include: schools, higher education, office complexes, fire stations, government building or renovations.
This person will be mainly drafting HVAC duct work, piping and equipment and at times they will assist in the drafting of electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution and data systems.
Duties may include include drafting for HVAC duct work lay out, sizing, load calculations, equipment layout etc.
