Actalent: Controls Technician

Actalent is hiring a Controls Tech for one of the biggest OEMs in the area!Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Electrically troubleshoot and repair complex machine tools and related equipmentTroubleshoot and repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machinesApply knowledge of electronic circuits to locate defects using instrumentsTest faulty equipmentCalibrate and service electronic testing instrumentsSupport electrical aspects of new equipment installationsBasic Qualifications:Experience maintaining electrical equipment in an industrial environment.Experience with troubleshooting and repairing CNC/PLC?controlled machines.Experience with?AC/DC analog and digital drives.Ability to demonstrate intermediate or higher?proficiency in reading and interpreting machine tool prints/schematicsBasic mechanical skillsAbility to operate basic tools to complete the?jobDemonstrate comprehension of oral instructions and/or?printed work orders to determine work assignments and material and?equipment needsSatisfactorily demonstrate proficiency?in electrical theory and application relating to plant operations?equipmentPhysical Requirements:Must pass the color blindness testMust be able to work at heights and in confined spacesTop candidates will also have:Electrician certificationSelf-starter andself-motivatedindividual who works well individually in a team environmentWillingness to work overtime to support production demands About Actalent:Actalent connects passion with purpose.
