3rd shift Mechanic B

Job DescriptionWe seek a Mechanic B to join our Maintenance team on 3rd Shift at our Solon, OH facility. The hours for this position are 11pm – 7am, Sunday through Thursday. Candidate must be able to perform complex repairs and set up equipment for all filling, packaging, mixing and building areas.The primary responsibilities of this position include:* Recognizes and reports mechanical problems. Under general supervision dissembles, replaces and reassembles any machine in the department.* Sets up and performs changeovers, tests and adjusts machines to ensure all controls are set properly.* Performs routine and preventative maintenance on all machines and facility equipment following maintenance schedule.* Reads and interprets drawings and schematics to locate and/or assist in locating problem area(s) and suggests methods for corrective action.* Involved with engineering projects for the facility.* Completes necessary paperwork related to daily activities and/or projects.* Performs various other duties as necessary.
