VP OF MARKETING MISSION:
The VP of Marketing’s mission is to lead the entire marketing function with full ownership of the corporate brand and communications, user acquisition, content strategy, marketing operations, and events.
As a Product Led company, Smartcat uses a freemium model and you will design the process of acquiring qualified new users, executing various B2B targeted campaigns, create a global content strategy and manage a team of copywriters with the goal of increasing product usage.
You’ll be responsible for presenting Smartcat to localization professionals within global organizations, language service providers (LSP), and freelance translators.
Your success will be measured by contributing to Smartcat’s fast quarter over the quarter growth rate of 33% and meeting quarterly user acquisition targets.
YOUR SPECIFIC OUTCOMES ARE:
Create a sustainable global user acquisition strategy in 3 months.
Increase product qualified lead volume (PQL) by 3x+ in the first 12 months.
Broaden Smartcat brand awareness, create top of funnel engagement and product usage in North America, Europe and APAC region in 6 months.
Meet specific performance metrics related to funnel conversion, sales pipeline development, and revenue generation in 12 months.
Design content creation and ownership process in 3 months.
Ensure messaging is compelling and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts.
Manage virtual event series including subject matter, recruiting speakers, and overall attendance and registrations.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5 years of experience leading a B2B SaaS marketing organization.
Experience creating content and user acquisition strategies from scratch and building a team that delivers on monthly targets.
Ability to deeply understand the Smartcat product strategy and the platform’s functionality.

Have worked in an international company with a solid understanding of localized content and demand generation methodologies.
