As the Vice President of Marketing Operations, you will deliver scaled marketing solutions in three areas: Operations, Planning and Marketing Technology.
Marketing Operations develops and owns sets of policies, systems and partnerships with other teams to help marketers get quality work done, at scale and in an efficient manner.
Based on our rapid growth, you will build a global marketing planning team to coordinate our global marketing calendar, manage our budgeting and planning process as well as map programs to marketing capacity by specialty and region.
Finally you will be responsible for our full set of marketing technology systems, tools and processes to allow marketers to publish content to various screens, enabled data to flow to our advertising teams and tools and partner with our platforms and sales teams to deliver best-in-class solutions to our business clients and the billions of job seekers who use Indeed annually.
This role reports to the GVP of Marketing and is responsible for delivering optimized processes and technology to the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
• Improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness by establishing and applying a rigorous approach to operational processes
• Optimize processes for cross functional alignment and agility; identifying gaps, address conflict or confusion and propose solutions
• Own marketing budget planning and timely reviews, working with finance and other stakeholder teams on a shared marketing calendar mapping initiatives to marketing capacity
• Build and maintain a world-class marketing technology system integrated with other Indeed systems for consistent and timely client communications; jointly own, with platforms and sales team, the marketing technology product roadmap for new functionality and capabilities
• Own systems for marketing programs including content delivery and management, digital assets management and advertising technology systems to support the global marketing teams
• Work with Marketing Leadership and CMO to ensure marketing team processes, systems and technologies function to allow efficient execution of global marketing programs at scale
Who You Are
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in senior marketing roles with particular emphasis on marketing operations, technology and process development
• A demonstrated ability to build and mentor global teams to deliver operational efficiency across a wide set of markets, programs and priorities
• Proven track record of impeccable business judgement, rigorous analytical problem solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to executive leadership
• A strong track record of influencing other parts of the business, senior stakeholders and peers
• A data-driven mindset with a passion for testing and measuring results
• Demonstrated organizational, planning and project management skills; the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems and manage multiple initiatives
• Tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work in a fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial approach
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
