Job Summary.

This position oversees digital marketing strategy for the Hilltop Holdings family of companies.

The role requires a keen ability to access and execute on digital content needs for the organization, including adapting writing styles across multiple mediums and platforms.

Key responsibilities include: managing digital advertising for multiple companies to achieve digital branding and lead generation goals; managing social media strategy, campaign execution, monitoring, and reporting for multiple accounts; creating, implementing, and tracking email campaigns for multiple brands; managing a portfolio of company websites; and creating content for a variety of mediums, including advertising, websites, blogs, video, podcasts, social media, emails, articles and more..

Essential Functions.

Manage digital advertising efforts including paid search, display, and social; oversee digital vendor partnerships, manage campaign development and execution, and analyze campaign results.

Oversee multiple corporate social media accounts for the Hilltop family of companies and business lines, growing organic social following, monitoring and engaging in conversations, and maintaining a pulse on social initiatives.

Develop email campaigns for multiple companies, collaborating with business leaders to create email content and craft customer journeys to meet communication goals; monitor email campaigns and report on results.

Manage web properties for three companies and related business lines, working with outside website vendors on site maintenance and SEO initiatives, providing ongoing site performance reporting, and collaborating with business leaders to ensure websites support business goals.

Collaborating with in-house design and communications teams, create content for a wide array of marketing materials including advertising, websites, blogs, videos, podcasts, social media posts, emails, articles, internal documentation, and more.

In partnership with business lines, develop monthly digital and social media content calendars and evolve content strategy to support business goals.

Develop and present reporting on key social and digital analytics to stakeholders across the organization.

Film and edit video content to support both external and internal company initiatives.

Edit and publish podcasts for business lines and effectively utilize digital and social tools to promote content.

Oversee the status of all digital projects in project management software.

Offer education, training, and resources to employees on social media use and digital tools.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements.

Bachelor’s degree required; marketing, advertising, or communications strongly preferred.

4 to 5 years professional experience required; experience in banking or financial industry preferred.

Must be able to provide writing and social media samples.

Excellent editing, grammar and proofing skills.

Experience with a website content management system a plus; WordPress preferred.

Excellent PC skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.

Experience with social media management tools and key social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube required.

Experience with email management tool required; Salesforce Marketing Cloud strongly preferred.

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud required; Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, Audition, Photoshop strongly preferred.

Experience with video production including sophisticated smartphone filming, editing footage, and animating content.

Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs while under pressure on strict time deadlines.

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously required.

Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver and execute high quality and consistent work.
