Position Title: Social Media Specialist
– BilingualDepartment: Brand, Marketing and EngagementTitle of Manager: Digital Platforms ManagerSupervises: Non-Supervisory PositionExemption Status: ExemptRequisition: 16564*This is a benefitted part-time (20 hour) bilingual position*General Statement of Duties The Social Media Specialist is responsible for generating positive engagement on all relevant social media platforms for both the organization and individual lines of business.

This includes increasing the follower base, tracking key performance indicators and meeting specific objectives to maintain course on the social media marketing roadmap.

Essential Position Functions+ Build, propose and execute social media programs through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.+ Generate, edit, publish and share content (e.g.

original text, images, video, etc.) that builds meaningful connections and encourages audiences to take action.+ Set up, optimize and administer company profiles within each platform to increase the visibility of the organization’s social content.

+ Moderate all user-generated content according to the moderation policies of each online community.+ Create and maintain editorial calendars.

Fluency through language testing in a second language relevant to the population served required.

Spanish language fluency preferred.
