The Role
We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to help us take our active, successful social program to the next level. Our social program is at the core of our content marketing engine, driving awareness of and engagement with Bluetooth technology and Bluetooth member company initiatives across a wide variety of markets and industries. We are a B2B organization that believes in human and personal communication. You will be promoting nuanced and fascinating technology for applications far beyond audio and entertainment – think smart factories, connected lighting, or connected medical devices. The Requirements
· 2+ years of daily, hands-on social marketing experience, including: planning, writing, executing, and reporting
· 1+ year of B2B experience, niche B2C experience may also be applicable
· Demonstrated writing and editing skills and a proven ability to drive engagement with targeted audiences
· Demonstrated organization, planning, and time management skills
· Ability to prioritize high volumes of tasks while maintaining a keen attention to detail
· Experience using third-party social management tools (e.g. Sprout, HootSuite, etc.)
· Experience with channel-native metrics and reporting capabilities
· Experience executing paid social campaigns including end-to-end management
· Understanding of social marketing KPIs and their relationship to high-level marketing goals
· Experience editing images for social promotion
· Experience with Google Analytics or equivalent analytics tool
Additional Requirements for Consideration
· Experience writing for technical and/or other niche audiences
· Experience with advanced audience targeting capabilities for LinkedIn and Twitter ads
· Experience with promotional writing for marketing channels other than social
· Experience with Sprout, including advanced and custom reporting
· Experience with Photoshop
· Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMSs
Job Requirements:
The Responsibilities
· Manage daily activity for Bluetooth technology across NA/EMEA social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook) including: planning, production, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement
· Use stellar writing and editing skills to create compelling posts that transform complex concepts into clear and actionable messages. Leverage internal resources and personal research to tailor writing styles to diverse audiences
· Contribute to social marketing strategy at network and program levels
· Measure and report against social media activities on weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis
· Create, manage, and track boosted/paid content campaigns
· Utilize social channel data, audience insights and active listening to identify engagement, testing, and other tactical opportunities
· Optimize, format, and edit photos as needed for social promotion
