Senior Product Manager

This product manager role will be responsible for managing the new xCELLigence Real Time Cell Analysis Instrument products within Cell Analysis Division of Agilent Technologies, for driving the products’ market adoption and penetration, and for delivering continued, sustainable significant growth in market share as well as sales revenue.

The successful candidate will manage the entire life cycle of certain new cell analysis instrument products from concept, to design, prototype/pilot production, testing, forecast, cost, mass production, promotion, support, and finally product end of life, deliver the operating plan for achieving the growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit and return on investment for all the aspects of business operation associated with the product, and be responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities through research, strategic planning and implementation.

The candidate must have experience in managing life science products and have demonstrated abilities in develop and implement an integrated multi-channel marketing plan to support the achievement of seals targets.

An ideal candidate will be well networked and have collaboration experience with key opinion leaders in the Cell Analysis market.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ownership of end-to-end product lifecycle Continuous optimization of customer journey in partnership with regional sales, service, and marketing teams to deliver business targets Responsible for voice of customer, market/competitive assessment, and product positioning Network with industry experts and leaders to drive brand awareness and product adoption Business analytics and reporting to monitor portfolio health Product SME for pricing, marketing programs, and content teams Responsible for all marketing aspects of a product portfolio including new product development, product launch plans and execution, pricing, positioning, promotional strategies, and sales team training Works directly with R&D to prepare and submit new product proposals and develop customer requirement documents Serves as a marketing representative on projects in the phase-gated product development process Develops the annual marketing plan, specifically, including pricing, positioning and promotional strategies Responsible for development of promotional materials and programs including catalogs, sales aids, website content, webinars, product literature, direct mail, and advertising, and external events Responsible for marketing communications, including eMarketing, trade show exhibits, user meetings, magazine/internet advertising, etc.

Provides marketing and/or technical support at conventions user’s meetings, workshops, and other specific marketing functions Conducts appropriate market analysis and competitive product research to provide information on market segmentation, market share, and customer requirements Provides appropriate training and directions to the Sales team including sales tactics, product features and benefits, competition landscape analysis and product positioning Develops KOL programs to achieve a better understanding of market needs, establish product-application champions, and speak about our products in the market Provides regular feedback and updated product information to the Sales team and International distributors
