Retail Sales & Marketing Assistant to Owner

AWARD WINNING JEWELRY DESIGNER David Tishbi specializes in contemporary designs. His jewelry creations are known for their simplicity and clean, fluid lines. David’s philosophy of jewelry is to create designs as wearable art. David Tishbi’s retail showroom and studio are located in Pacific Palisades, California. There they sell the David Tishbi collections and work extensively with clients to create custom work.

David Tishbi Jewelry, in Pacific Palisades, California, is seeking a new member to assist David with sales on the floor as well as various marketing tasks. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, have strong customer skills, work in a consultative selling role, and enjoy providing administrative, marketing and customer service support. Attention to detail and proven ability to follow projects from beginning to end is a must.

Responsibilities:

Open / close & setup the store

Greet and direct customers

Answer customers’ questions about specific products/service

Inform customers about discounts and special offers

Answer phone calls

Jewelry photography & editing

Marketing assets creation

Email marketing campaigns creation using mail-chimp

Social media management

Qualifications & Skills:

Enthusiasm about and ability to connect with customers and be of service to them

Strong communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships

Excellent project management and organization skills

Knowledge about how jewelry is made and jewelry materials is a plus

Experience selling jewelry or providing customer service to jewelry clients is a plus

Comfort with store operations and marketing and sales technology

Graphic Design skills & graphic design software (Photoshop/illustrator) knowledge

BSc in Marketing or related field is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
