Graphics Production Account Manager Phototype, founded in 1919, is one of the longest running, independently owned brand-building companies in the US.

Due to recent business growth, we have an exciting, new opportunity for a Graphics Production Account Manager (internally we call this position Graphics Production Manager).
The Graphics Production Manager , onsite at Phototype’s client, is responsible for ensuring projects exceed client expectations while balancing Phototype’s internal objectives.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Graphics Production Manager coordinates design and production with other Phototype locations and teams.
To be successful in this role, the Graphics Production Manager position requires a highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who also has ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while anticipating client needs.
Only candidates with a Graphics Production background will be considered Job Requirements: Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Initiate, validate, plan, and execute the clients’ packaging graphics process on behalf of Phototype.
The ideal candidate will guide the client through a complex workflow to project manage the packaging graphics lifecycle.
Guide, train, and walk the client through their process and best possible ways to move from design to production while adhering to standard operating procedures and meeting deadlines.
Responsible for working with all functional groups across both Phototype and the client to provide and collect info needed to begin graphics development.
Work with in routing and collaboration tools, and client’s information system.
Attend daily meetings with marketing, partner design agencies, and print suppliers acting as the liaison between all groups for optimal packaging development.
Collaborate with the creative agency for execution of design intent across the brand lineup and establish what the best rep SKUs would be.
Attend meetings to develop and adapt processes, policies, and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, speed, quality, etc.
Collaborate with the production printer to ensure packaging artwork is built to the correct spec and color tolerances.
Onboard new print suppliers, send out print specs forms, request color profile info, and manage the client’s printer relationship.
Verify all teams supply final print materials to suppliers’ needs.
Responsible for knowing the nuances of each supplier and overseeing that all groups have what they need to go into production.
Act as a liaison between the Client Quality Team and print vendors when a less than desirable outcome is printed.
Work with Team Leader to resolve and course correct even when it’s not a Phototype issue.
Coordinate press runs with printer/schedule meeting to discuss objective with Marketing teams / keep Marketing in a real-time loop of the print run status.
Provide the directives on the construction of all 3D renders for primary package development.
Request and distribute grid film for distortions.
Key communication point to the international teams as to the path the US is taking with design.
GPM’s share US design work out with subsidiaries upon receiving for routing and approval.
Distribute invoices and color standards to marketing for approval by hand.
Coordinate comp development with for sales meetings with the trade-marketing team.
Provide quotes, mark-up fee, file release, ship material for, and secure delivery date.

Education & Certifications College degree (e.g.
