Our e-learning client is searching for a B2B digital campaign marketing strategist who will ultimately be leading the strategy for lead acquisition programs, brand campaigns, and digital activities across the client’s online platforms. This person will be responsible for bringing to life the digital marketing strategy to deliver against key performance indicators and business goals. Additionally, they will be working in close collaboration with internal teams to understand and recommend how internal workflows should align to marketing strategies in terms of generating awareness, bringing new leads, increasing user engagement, and actively moving users through the funnel.Candidates must be local to the D.C. region as this position will potentially require a couple of days of onsite attendance in their D.C. office on a hybrid schedule. ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, direct, and manage agencies to deliver against business goals, return on investment, and defined key performance indicatorsOversee digital campaign channels and overall performanceCreate successful, repeatable campaign strategies in partnership with marketing teams, such as targeting recommendations, channel distribution, and post-lead acquisition workflowForecast results and targets utilizing real-time platform and customer relationship management system data to assist internal teams with budget allocation and strategic planningPrepare and report in a regular cadence performance for campaigns, channels, KPIs, and business goals; highlight key areas of importance and recommended optimizationsEstablish and maintain a testing strategy across all properties, including ad creative, landing pages, and lead conversion pointsManage various campaign requests in a timely manner across marketing stakeholdersMake recommendations on the ongoing website strategySupport internal teams with the delivery of acquisition and business goalsOversee and maintain the web analytics reporting platforms to track and report KPIs, competitor activity, and trendsLead and direct agencies to deliver against ongoing and emerging keyword strategy across priority business lines; identify gaps and take advantage of opportunitiesUncover new opportunities to acquire customers efficiently and at scale through digital marketing channelsDevelop and define metrics, procedures, and workflows in collaboration with applicable stakeholders to launch campaigns, track performance, and drive efficiencySpeak on, uphold, and train marketing teams on marketing standard processes and methodologies to optimize campaign and business results; share best practices with them to develop and launch end-to-end campaigns and programs that are tested, proven, and scalableBenchmark current marketing activities, practices, performance; develop a long-term strategy and associated recommendations for continual improvementResponsibilitiesBachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other applicable areas8+ years of digital marketing experience3+ years of B2B marketing experienceProficiency with Google AdWords, Facebook, and LinkedInExperience working in or with digital marketing agenciesBackground in translating campaign goals to a multi-channel, digital strategy targeting key personasKnowledge of search engine marketing, website design, user experience, and SEO best practicesExperience reporting on marketing performance, and communicating marketing insights that impact sales outcomesStrong project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlinesKnowledge of Google Analytics and other web analytics reporting platformsExperience with ad and content syndication platforms would be helpfulBackground in marketing automation and CRM platforms would be preferredDemand generation or customer lifecycle marketing support experience would be beneficial
