Marketing Strategist

Timber Automation

This is a Full-time position in Hot Springs, AR posted February 27, 2022.

Timber Automation is seeing a Marketing Strategist to create marketing strategies to expand the existing portfolio of products into new geographies and to develop strategies for the launch of new products throughout North America.

Success in the role will be demonstrated by your ability to help bolster Timber’s market share in existing geographies and expand market share into new geographies.
Essential Functions

This position is required to:
Obtain a thorough understanding of our products, internal standards, and differentiators to develop strategies aimed at increasing market share.
Create marketing strategies for existing products and to launch new products.
Analyze and interpret sales and marketing key performance indicators.
Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g., product development and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives.
Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns.
Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs.
Analyze existing marketing collateral with a critical eye to identify and improve current processes when needed.

Competencies

Creative thinker and data-driven.
Proven track record of project management and strong attention to detail.
Proven track record of market analysis and marketing strategy creation and successful execution.
In-depth knowledge of CRM software and content management systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe.

Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis.
Not intimidated by being a department of one (1).

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have any direct reports.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5 p.m.

However, due to the nature of the position and its responsibilities, it may become necessary to work outside of normal business hours.

Remote work is available.
Travel
Minimal but as required.
Education And Experience Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a marketing strategist performing detailed market analyses, creating “go-to-market” strategies, and successfully launching new products.
Lumber market experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred but not required.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
