Job Description:
Marketing Product Manager II (H4)
This position reports to the head of marketing for Institutional Retirement for Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. The Marketing Product Manager will be responsible for developing strategic marketing programs targeted to institutional clients, financial advisors and internal sales specialists.
Responsibilities include:
- Timely and effective development, execution and management of marketing and communication strategies and campaigns
- Provide effective leadership on all initiatives from inception to implementation
- Develop project plans to launch new products and services, and/or enhancements
- Help build cohesive, consistent messaging and product positioning
- Measure effectiveness and produce reports of accomplishments and business impact
- Coordinate and foster collaborative relationships within the team
- Develop strong, effective relationships with multiple business partners, and work across teams to produce content
Qualifications/Desired Skills:
- 7+ years marketing or communications experience – in-house or agency, financial services preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Marketing discipline preferred
- Excellent communications skills
- Project leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional project teams to drive to concrete results and actions
- Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment; ability to manage within tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to incorporate marketing intelligence to drive action and to identify business building opportunities
- Superior organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills; strong relationship building
- Skill in developing new ideas and new approaches to old ideas
- Professional maturity to effectively interface with senior management
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Powerpoint and Excel
