Summary
The Marketing Innovation Design Engineer is responsible for performing business analysis and ensuring requirements are met for marketing capabilities projects.

Specifically, this role will provide an invaluable support system to facilitate the delivery of desired marketing capability designs for Aristocrat Gaming player and operator-facing programs to drive new business growth opportunities and help strengthen the continuous improvement process for internal products.
This individual needs to have strengths in identifying and/or defining product requirements, articulating a business sponsors’ vision, creative problem solving, collaborating with a diverse cross-functional team, and steering a team through projects for successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter, who can operate both at a tactical and strategic level as well as be willing to “roll up the sleeves” to advance project work as needed.
What you'll do
Work with business users and other assigned stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze, design, develop and implement user friendly, scalable marketing innovation and capabilities solutions.
Solve marketing capabilities-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
Perform analysis and solution delivery for several Marketing Innovation and Capabilities functional areas.
Work with Product Owners to assess value, develops cases, and prioritizes stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with the marketing innovations and capabilities strategy.
Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
Creates functional specifications as an input to application design/configuration for systems.
Develops and tests detailed functional designs and configurations for multiple application functions.
Work with users to develop efficient and optimal best practices and solutions in multiple functional areas.
Provide day-to-day support for issues that affect the daily operation of system and their interfaces; help resolve such issues in a timely manner.
Conduct horizon scanning through organization and industry research to identify opportunities and future threats.
What we're looking for
BA / BS
2+ years in a product management function
3+ years in a business tech analyst function
2+ years of experience with marketing technology.
Experience working in external design and development teams
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of business process modelling
Understanding how CRM and BI tools operate
Comfortable thinking outside the box and articulating design ideas
Superb organization skills with the ability to estimate and track effort
Understands complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs
Possesses demonstrated work experience with SQL and Reporting tools
Basic understanding of User Experience design concepts
Exceptionally clear oral and written communication who can flex across technical, business, and creative forums.
