ABOUT THE TEAM: Creative, dynamic and hardworking, our marketers execute strategies that drive awareness and engagement with our legal audience for monetization through paid subscriptions and sales support.
We collaborate work with internal departments to prioritize initiatives based on revenue needs.
We partner with the Global Technology Solutions (GTS) team to measure the success of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:
Assist in executing marketing journeys by developing the user experience and interventions designed to drive engagement with our content, build a perception of value of our content, and ultimately choose to purchase a subscription to our content.
- Manage the email marketing execution for paid subscriptions across multiple publications.
- Facilitate execution of ad campaigns on our internal network as well as paid programs.
- Coordinate with creative team to develop materials needed for marketing or sales initiatives
- Track and analyze data to assess what is working, what is not, and provide recommendations to optimize.
- Identify opportunities to adapt messaging around marketing campaign strategies.
- Manage a tracking report that allows the business to make intelligent decisions about priorities either at the individual brand level or across multiple paid subscription brands.
- Maintain organized documentation for team (and executive) consumption to maintain best practices across brands.
- Continuously seek new concepts to test and develop the test theory, criteria, expected results and desired outcomes then track against those goals post-test.
- Partner with team members to facilitate support for the sales team, including lead gen, materials, and opportunities for nurturing or onboarding strategies.
Partner with extended outsource team to execute email marketing in-market.
- Partner across the team to execute social campaigns
Industry knowledge
- Stay up-to-date on the latest testing trends and assist in developing “Point of View” (POV) documents on new trends or special opportunities to present to internal stakeholders (primarily editorial teams)
- Share digital marketing strategies/ideas/tips in team discussions
- Review web analytics with the team to identify points of friction that stop the user from conversion and help remove those points of friction to drive higher conversions.
- Partner with the product team to develop and prioritize system changes that will facilitate greater sales online.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a business related discipline
- Two to four years of digital marketing experience (ideally paid subscription marketing experience)
- Excellent written communications skills – proven expertise developing creative that persuades and sells
- Strong interpersonal skills (communication, listening, verbal)
- Innovative problem-solver who can quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Self-starter with proven record of completing work independently within established deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented
- Competence executing digital and social media marketing tactics
- Working knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver, MS Office, G-Suite
- Marketing automation software and email list management experience (ExactTarget a plus)
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (SiteCatalyst a plus)
- Knowledge of the legal industry a plus
- Experience in media/publishing industry a plus
