Overview
This position provides sales and marketing support to the Marketing Department, as well as administrative support to the Sales Department, including New Home Consultants, through a variety of related responsibilities. The position requires an ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines, be self-sufficient, have good judgment, be dependable with a professional, supportive attitude, and a high level of confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- The primary duty will be to support the manager(s) in day-to-day sales and marketing activities through collection and dissemination of information to individual communities. Interaction with Sales Associates, Construction, Customer Care and vendors to maintain model complex presence.
- Provide collateral material for phase releases: sales maps, floor plans and renderings, homesite signs, brochure reprints and special event planning as applies.
- Assist in preparing and collating all necessary information items for Sales Department.
- Requires attendance outside of office at homeowner, office, trade and community events.
- Creating promotional materials, business letters, memorandums, standard operation forms, reports and other correspondence in an accurate and timely manner as directed.
- Perform administrative support: managing multiple calendars, spreadsheets, preparing for presentations and meetings, data entry, faxing, copying, answering phones, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence as requested.
- Maintain Sales and Marketing invoices, including code and research in a timely manner.
- Maintain marketing materials. Some composing of materials included.
- Set up as directed, installation items (such as pictures, banners, posters, signs, etc.) in Welcome Home Centers, as well as maintaining community signage.
- Assist Marketing with set up of opening and closings of new Welcome Home Centers and models, including on an “as needed” basis with emergency and/or critical issues that arise in the Welcome Home Centers.
- Be able to assume new responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Sales Managers, Marketing Manager or Division President.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years minimum experience in similar position or related areas in the marketing industry
- High school diploma or GED required, (AA Degree or completion of general administrative/business desired)
- Strong PC skills (proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe & Adobe Creative Cloud)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and great attitude
- Detailed and numbers oriented

Physical Requirements:
This is somewhat a sedentary office position which requires the ability to ability to operate a motor vehicle, climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment and supplies, which may be in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, and in outside elements, in order to attend frame walks. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer, keyboard, and calculator.
