With 37 stores from Maine to Florida Rocky’s Ace Hardware has been a Springfield, MA institution since 1926.

We have a unique opportunity for a talented Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team in our Support Center.

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role by contributing to strategies and business efforts that advance the Rocky’s brand image and boost customer awareness.

The Marketing Coordinator’s duties include assisting in advertising campaigns, scheduling promotional events, monitoring sales status, researching current market trends and contributing ideas that advance Rocky’s position in the marketplace.

As Marketing Coordinator you’ll handle an array of marketing functions with the coordination, implementation, and reporting of marketing campaigns.

You are energetic, collaborative, a strong communicator and possess a proactive spirit that enjoys partnering with other departments.

Here are just some of the ways you’ll bring value as well as the requirements needed to demonstrate proficiency and readiness for this role:
Creates digital and print content to support marketing and awareness campaigns.

Writes and edits content for awards programs, and other special initiatives including scripts, press releases, email content, social media content, web content and advertisements.

Coordinates email campaign distribution Modifies design files and resizes art files as needed.

Responsible for the development of social media content across all platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram) Facilitate correspondence between the Marketing department and internal or external partners.

Job Requirements:
Ability to work within tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy.

The ability to assimilate multiple data inputs and feedback and exercise attention to detail to produce tools and documents and other deliverables with a high level of accuracy.

Associates degree or 4 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A minimum of 2 years of Marketing, project management or Operations support.

Advanced experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe design applications etc.) Strong analytical skills coupled with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

The ability to assimilate multiple data inputs and feedback and exercise attention to detail to produce tools and documents and other deliverables with a high level of accuracy.

Must be able to operate in a highly visible, cross functional environment.

Proficiency with Google Analytics
Successful candidates will understand various marketing channels and will have the ability to work on cross-functional, fast-paced teams with multiple deadlines.

Successful candidates will have experience in developing action-oriented marketing content and be skilled in using Microsoft Office/Office 365.

Working knowledge of Adobe CS/CC applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), web-based email platforms, and project management software is a plus.
