Marketing Budget Analyst
Wilmington
As Barclays Marketing Budget Analyst, you will manage the budgets of the entire Marketing Communications & Creative team.

Includes tracking and reporting, working within Coupa, liaising with Finance and developing forward-looking projections in collaboration with other Marketing teams.

You will assist with initiation of projects with external creative agencies, review estimates and timelines, and serve as liaison between agencies and Barclays’ business areas.

What will you be doing?

• You will be managing the multi-million dollar creative marketing budget, as well as the Social Media and Creative Media Services budgets

• Working closely with other Marketing partners to create budget projections and run rates

• Liaising with Finance on budget tracking throughout the year

• Opening POs in our accounting system (Coupa) and process invoices at job completion

• Providing reporting on a regular and ad-hoc basis

• Managing Agency Management Team mailbox, trafficking incoming project requests and assigning out to Agency Management Leads

• Assisting with initiation and kickoff of external creative projects
What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a major corporation or creative agency supporting Marketing and/or Finance

• Detail-oriented, and able to juggle competing priorities

• Strong analytical and budget management skills
Skills that will help you in the role:

• Excellent communications skills – both written and spoken

• Expertise in MS Office packages especially Excel

• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams; ability to drive strategic agendas, and make strategic recommendations

• Project management and/or trafficking experience
