Job Description

What You Will Do: You will execute cross-functional marketing campaigns to support the sale of company products and services in [annuities, life insurance, mutual funds, employee benefits, retirement].

You will be working with a team of ambitious and engaged professionals who bring fresh ideas and diverse perspectives to help us continually shake up the status quo and stay on the forefront of reinventing how we meet our business partner’s needs.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Lead traffic, intake and creative resource management process for all marketing channels within Individual solutions including assignments for external creative agencies
  • Manage marketing calendar and planning/prioritization process for channel programs and campaigns
  • Oversee large scale or high profile campaigns that impact multiple channels
  • Manage $1M agency budget including the procurement/SOW and payment process
  • Provide requirements to technology teams to fully utilize marketing technology as part of front-end intake/campaign management process
  • Train new and existing marketing team members on intake and creative brief process
  • Manage key digital and promotional activities related to strategy, execution and reporting.
  • Lead the execution of campaigns to drive growth strategies for assigned products and channels.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product to define goals and key performance indicators.
  • Perform campaign analytics reporting and review; help create plans based on learnings, and translate into actionable plans; evaluate program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Provide team members with insight and direction to help meet organizational goals and drive team success.
  • Report on productivity, priorities, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to established processes and workflows related to end-to-end campaign strategy, creative execution, optimizing for performance, and troubleshooting; identify and recommend new processes and workflows as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure delivery of superior customer service and operational excellence. 
  • Serve as an internal escalation point for campaign related issues.
  • Assist in marketing program budget management.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or equivalent experience
  • Eight years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing or project management
  • Thorough understanding of traditional and digital platforms
  • Broad experience developing and executing digital campaigns and complex projects
  • Technical acumen to design campaigns that optimize the use of marketing platforms
  • Creative thinker
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills at an executive level
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to see the larger picture and help teams prioritize work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with content management, workflow and other marketing tools such as CMD, CRM, DAM, Workflow, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Workfront
  • Experience with change management
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Experience working with creative agencies

Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position generally ranges from $77,700-$102,900.

This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.

The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

Bonus Eligibility:

This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 17.5%.
