The SEO Marketing Specialist will lead our global SEO strategy.
They will help develop and implement a publishing approach that builds digital authority, audience credibility and inbound organic traffic around our product portfolio.
They achieve this by aligning content with related keyword ranking strategy, ensuring technical specifications, developing backlink and internal linking strategies and monitoring competitive positioning.
They will work across our global web and blog sites in various languages including Global English, Portuguese, French, German and Spanish.
The ideal candidate is well-versed in the latest SEO tactics and is creative, resourceful, flexible, collaborative.
The ability to dive into SEO tools and parse through keyword research to help us improve our SEO strategy is a plus.
Must have excellent communication skills and be a strong project manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and implement long
– and short-term global SEO strategy.
- Manage off-site and on-site optimization projects including content strategy planning, keyword strategy, link building, web analytics
- Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to guide content team, optimize landing pages, existing content and find new opportunities
- Monitor technical SEO performance, review, and prioritize issues, recommend fixes
- Track key performance indicators, collect, and interpret data to recommend tactics for organic search optimization
- Collaborate with web developers, product team, and SMEs on SEO requirements and best practices for organic search success
- Educate and keep the company informed on SEO trends, changes, opportunities, and risks
- Report on traffic and rankings performance weekly, communicate project development, timelines, and results to management
- Collaborate with Paid Marketing specialist in Phoenix to align on SEM keyword strategy.
- Manage global KW prioritization lists across global English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish sites.
- Manage internal linking and backlink strategies.
- Develop SEO and search engine marketing initiatives with keyword optimization, content tagging and metadata management
- Aid in the standardization of hashtags to grow fans/followers on social channels
- Provide timely communication of weekly/monthly channel metrics, results/post-campaign evaluation, and competitive activity.
- Develop Bi-monthly executive readouts on global SEO Strategy.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO, preferably within the IT industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in related content creation experiences (e.g.
publishing, editorial, journalism, content marketing, copywriting, digital marketing)
- SEO marketing
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new business domain knowledge to content strategy and asset creation
- Ability to work with WordPress
- Excellent in adopting a keyword-driven strategy and familiar with SEO tooling to monitor ranking
- Ability to tag and link content for SEO
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple projects successfully and prioritize tasks effectively
- Social media
- Deep Knowledge of social media monitoring and analytical tools and experience listening, measuring, analyzing and presenting the results of social media campaigns.
- Relevant University degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field is required
- Excellent research, writing, editing and organizational skills
- Self-starter and can-do attitude a must
- Ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams
- Competitive mindset with the ability to regularly break new traffic and ranking records
