SUMMARY
The High Net-Worth Marketing Specialist is responsible for engaging with Stifel Financial Advisors (FAs) to instill a deep understanding of the Firm’s High Net Worth (HNW) investment products and services.
The Specialist will be required to have a deep understanding of Stifel’s platform of offerings and will serve as the product expert and primary point of contact between the Financial Advisor and the High Net Worth options on the product platform.
The role will primarily focus on Stifel’s Alternative Investments Platform (specifically Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Liquid Alternative Investments and Exchange Funds) but will also have exposure to other High Net Worth product areas including, but not limited to, Structured Investments and Portfolio Consulting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with Stifel Financial Advisors to instill a deep understanding of alternative investments, structured investments and other investment products and services to increase Financial Advisor engagement with the High Net Worth product options
Work closely with Financial Advisors and their clients to further the understanding of the Firm’s capabilities and product set in addition to responding to any inquiries from the field
Engage with the Stifel Alternative Investment Due Diligence, Structured Investments, Investment Strategy, Portfolio Consulting teams and 3rd party fund managers to deepen the level of understanding and expand the adoption of the Firm’s product set
Support senior High Net Worth Marketing Specialists by coordinating product roadshows, branch office meetings/calls, client calls with 3rd party managers, etc.
Assist with creation of marketing plan for HNW product across branches by reviewing branch metrics and determining which FAs and clients to target
Effectively leverage Firm data to monitor fundraising activity and assist in formulating fundraising targets for alternative investment offerings
Track, monitor and prepare presentations outlining marketing and fundraising activity across the HNW product platform
Create and update educational and marketing materials on the Firms product platform including marketing presentations for specific products
Partner with management firms to ensure coordinated approach to 3rd party marketing and wholesale efforts across the offices
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Solid knowledge of alternative investment industry, general investment principles and characteristics across asset classes with strong finance and economic competences with knowledge or experience in global financial markets
Minimum Required: B.S.
or B.A.
in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or Related Field
Minimum Required: 1 to 3 years relevant experience
Minimum Required: Series 7 & 63 within 12 months of hire
