Digital Marketing Strategist

This is a Full-time position in Seattle, WA posted December 20, 2021.

The Digital Marketing Strategist will collaborate cross-functionally to build integrated frameworks across existing and new digital and offline programs, lead various aspects of operational planning for scale digital programs, and drive digital innovation to support the Amazon Services (AWS) Global team in generating awareness and demand.

In this role, you will architect and execute programs to accelerate new lead generation and customer lifecycle progression to support the growth objectives of the Product & Solution Campaigns team.

You will be responsible for creating go-to-market strategies for assigned AWS campaigns and solution areas as well as test, measure and monitor impact of tactical execution.

You will own channel performance of a variety of Amazon owned (AWS website, Site Merchandising, Organic Social) and paid (Paid search, Display ads, Paid Media etc.) channels.

Our ideal candidate has creative ideas combined with extensive analytic and data-driven B2B experience, and the ability to work both strategically and tactically to generate best-in-class programs.

The ability to effectively program manage projects, influence others, and collaborate across a variety of internal teams and multiple stakeholders is critical.

They are detail-oriented and organized, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.

You will lead the building, deployment and activation as part of global, integrated initiatives; while driving a vision for how global deployment helps achieve goals; and defining and implementing best practices across an enterprise organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead various aspects of operational planning for global programs, including defining priorities, recommended investment plans, and functional goals.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including Geo teams, to build an effective marketing communications plan to drive awareness, adoption, and usage of Global Campaign offerings, demand generation assets, and content.
  • Manage day-to-day digital operational work including team management for the build, QA, deployment, and reporting for Product & Solution Campaigns
  • Drive testing to arrive at data-driven conclusions for campaign frameworks
    – regarding how to most effectively engage customers within channels (e.g.

    cadence, frequency, etc.)

  • Own and implements the targeting and segmentation for campaigns
  • Develop and execute test plans across all channels
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes for paid and owned channel activation
  • Drive the design of customer lifecycle experiences from look/feel, to content flow, to user experience
  • Provide performance analysis to facilitate timely optimizations that drives results
  • Help support the localization process for Global deployments
  • Collaborates with internal managers, in-region Field teams, external agencies, PMM, and other internal stakeholders to create the best experiences for AWS customers

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing or operations with a heavy focus on B2B marketing
  • Bachelor Degree in marketing, economics, engineering and/or relevant field of study
  • 2+ years of marketing automation experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of leading and managing integrated using tactics that include advertising, lead nurture programs, live events, webinars, and media
  • Experience building and formatting pages and templates Velocity script, HTML, and CSS coding experience, with HTML/CSS skills for both and web
  • Marketo Certified Expert
  • Adobe CQ or equivalent CMS build experience
  • Hands-on experience building, launching, and reporting on using and Salesforce.com
  • Experience with B2B funnel marketing, specifically high-tech products/services
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Solid quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    – comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make recommendations and drive decisions
  • Proven experience building test and learn plans that continuously improve engagement
  • Passion to continually learn and expand hands-on technical skills
  • Demonstrable experience finding ways to drive operational efficiency
  • Highly collaborative and has experience working cross-functionally and gathering requirements across teams
  • Expertise in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and has great attention to detail
