The Coordinator should possess basic graphic design skills to be able to create and edit marketing assets including online ads, landing pages, e-newsletters, social media content and basic photo editing with an eye for trends and design. The coordinator should be detail-oriented and responsive to tight deadlines.
Ideal candidates for this role should be creative and innovative, passionate about social media and website management, multimedia savvy, well-organized, a decent photographer and must be excellent writers and communicators. Ultimately, the exceptional Digital Marketing Coordinator should have a firm grasp of the different digital touch points, drive highly effective digital campaigns, enhance user experience, and deliver on digital objectives.
Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:
Communication. Have the ability to write creatively and effectively to audiences with different brand voices. In addition, be confident in tracking down information, talking to partners and vendors, and diligently following up.
Organization. The coordinator must be able to juggle the tasks of three resorts at once. Being organized and efficient is an important quality.
Design. Create, produce, and edit high-quality marketing and promotional materials, including but not limited to email newsletter, social media content, website content, and print collateral – both independently and by managing third party design professionals.
Strategize. Propose, support and execute marketing strategies to generate revenue and instill brand recognition.
Analyze. Use data from Google Analytics and other sources to evaluate the performance of campaigns.
Collaborate. Work with teammates within marketing as well as our mountain teams to make maximum use of our marketing efforts
Customer Service. Respond to customers in a friendly, helpful, and timely fashion on various platforms. Make timely and precise updates to our websites in order to ensure relevant and accurate information.
Creating and manage mailing lists, including extensive targeting
Write, schedule, and analyze social media content
Write and design newsletters
Research market trends
Stay abreast of current trends in social media
Design social media content
Develop and source content for digital initiatives
Manage and update website
Manage event details
Analyze data from Google Analytics and Mailchimp
Entering invoices and keeping track of expenses
Developing local stakeholder relationships
Signage and collateral delivery support
Other Responsibilities:
Maintain strong file organization
Work with and manage outside vendors such as photographers, influencers, printers, etc.
Submit and manage expenses and purchase orders
Job Qualifications:
Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
Passion for trends and thorough understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter
Strong understanding of graphic design, print production, typography and layout expertise; possesses strong composition skills.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Ability to think critically and solve problems.
Ability to gather and analyze data to formulate strategies; Google Analytics experience preferred.
Experience in Mailchimp or other newsletter building platforms
Experience making basic updates in WordPress or other CMS platforms.
Basic accounting experience

High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or another related field.

1-3 years experience in a marketing position
Preferred:
3-5 years experience in the outdoor industry (bonus points for ski resort experience)
