The Affiliate Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting others in all consumer acquisition activities. This includes identifying and recruiting new affiliates, managing assigned affiliate relationships, monitoring affiliate performance and taking corrective action when needed as well as recommending strategies to improve overall affiliate quality and volume.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Proactively research, identify, develop and recommend new affiliate marketing partners
- Facilitate contracts and integration testing with new affiliates
- Routinely build and maintain friendly and trustworthy relationships with assigned affiliates through daily communication, follow-up and coordination
- Operate assigned internal affiliate tracking and reporting platforms
- Monitor assigned affiliates by continually analyzing performance; identify opportunities to optimize traffic, and adjusting campaign structures.
- Communicate and monitor affiliate compliance and adherence to guidelines
- Hold assigned affiliates accountable for their lead quality and volume
- Identify, research and recommend solutions to traffic and technical anomalies
- Assist with managing portfolios’ frontend KPIs to meet performance metrics
- Assist with overall buying strategy
- Attend tradeshows as needed (travel required)
- Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals
- Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
- Maintain positive peer relationships in a remote environment
- Work with the Accounting department to ensure invoices are accurate and payouts are timely

Experience required
Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in business, marketing, communications or other related field required.
A minimum of two years related experience and/or training in affiliate marketing preferred.
Proficient Excel skills required
Digital Marketing experience required as well as conversion metrics experience (ex: cost per acquisition, cost per funded dollar)
Experience with affiliate or on-line lead generation
