Essential Position Function and Responsibilities:

• Manual Mill
• Manual Lathe
• Grinding
• Welding
• Miscellaneous hand work
• Manual and CNC regrinding
• Presetting of holders and cutters
• Small tear down and assembly jobs

Daily Tasks: Perform tasks as assigned by team leader. Normal daily activities include machine shop activities, tool regrind, and tool presetting.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Read and understand blueprints.Machine shop or cutting tool preset and regrind experience.Ability to use micrometers calipers, etc..Troubleshoot and countermeasure manufacturing related issues of low to moderate complexity.Organization skills.Effective time management.Flexible team player.Self-motivation.Required Experience: Minimum two years of machine shop or cutting tool regrind experience preferred.

Degree: High School Degree or Equivalent.

Position Factors: Manufacturing Environment.Possible travel with training and new machine installations.0-12 hour’s overtime per week.Occasional weekend and holiday work as needed.Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift long term.1 week domestic travel potential per year for training.
