Summary

This job consists of maintaining our pre-set area for our Milling and Lathe departments on 2nd shift.

The schedule for this role is Monday
– Thursday, 3:25 PM
– 2:00 AM, and will include a night shift differential.

In this position you would be setting up and tearing down job tooling, maintaining the paperwork for each job, putting job fixtures away, delivering fixtures to machines, as needed, and maintaining the Pre-set and Fixture areas to stay safe, neat, and organized.

The ideal candidate will have:
An understanding of the basic fundaments of Milling and Lathe tools along with knowledge of tool holders, and how they work
Experience using hand tools and machine shop measuring equipment.

(Verniers and Micrometers)
The ability and dexterity to work with small and sharp tools
Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
Fork truck experience
Great organizational and multitasking skills
The ability to maintain focus under pressure while multitasking
Safety oriented
Willing to except change and the ability to follow written and oral instructions
Must be adaptable to a changing work environment
Willingness to preform other duties as required or assigned
Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED.

Technical/Vocational training desired.
