The Sr.
IT Systems Manufacturing Engineer under minimal guidance will be responsible for relationship management at the production floors.
This will require direct support of production leadership, understanding how IT services are consumed by the production teams, and working with IT leadership to optimize IT services to meet their needs.Specific Duties and Responsibilities* Lead in transforming how the production builders use IT hardware by documenting use cases in every production floor area.* Will present real use case studies to IT leadership team for problem areas so improvements can be made.* Assist in refining strategy and overseeing how production builders use IT equipment.* Understand how the process works, how the technology supports the process, how integrations work, and the impact of changes to any component, provide training and support in regards to production floor issues.* Actively listen to customers’ needs and requests, ensuring they are fully understood with appropriate expectations effectively set and delivered.* Work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions, worldwide, and as part of a team.* Comply with quality system regulations, standards and procedures.* Lead in coordinating and responding to incoming IT escalations across multiple real-time intake channels (web, e-mail, chat, phone, walk-up) for production floor incident and problem trends.* Improve user experience, collaborate with Tier1, Tier2 and Sr Techs to effectively integrate processes and solutions.* Establish and improve policies, processes and standards following industry best practices.* Oversee the development and publishing of Knowledge article for client services applications and processes with an emphasis on supporting Endpoint Management software tools for imaging and installing IT equipment.* Identify, develop and disseminate solutions to technical issues and process gaps for in-scope IT Services and process flows* Maintain the IT ticketing system, ensuring that open tickets are resolved or escalated within any defined SLAs* Independently triage incoming escalation tickets, including identification of appropriate routing for application or service improvements pertaining to the production floor use of IT equipment.* Document maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.* Develop operations procedures and tools to improve operational efficiency and reliability of IT software and hardware.* Integrate operational procedures and image automation to improve consistent delivery.* Manage imaging lab for client systems initiatives, including development and testing.* Maintain effective relationships with vendors and end users.* The ability to repetitively pick up, move and transport heavy IT equipment throughout the day.
This includes but not limited to desktops, laptops, monitors, accessories, and all other IT equipment.* Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.** Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards and procedures.** Perform other work-related duties as assigned.Position Qualifications* Minimum education and experience:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience providing enterprise level end user support, or equivalent combination of education and experienceAdditional qualifications: Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RDP, Print Management, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, configuration management tools (e.g.
Microsoft SCCM, Intune, and/or JAMF), Office 365, scripting (e.g.
PowerShell), Adobe Creative Cloud, and Anti-virus/anti-malware utilities.
