JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the Supervision of the Production Group Leader, the production member is responsible for performing required functions to inspect or assemble an interior automotive piece that meets quality standards within a required cycle time. This is generally a 5:15pm- 2:00am for 2 nd shift, Monday-Friday, non-exempt job in the Bardstown, Kentucky facility. Work outside these hours is, however, sometimes required and is an essential component of the job.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, manipulate and feel objects, tools or controls. Job requires handling component parts approximately 85% of the average day. Basic hand-eye coordination, balance and motor skills also are necessary. The employee is required to stand most of the scheduled work day. The employee is occasionally required to walk, carry items, stoop, bend, squat and reach with hands and arms. Rarely lifting of up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting of 10 pounds is required. Duties require close visual for cosmetic defects such as scratches, scuffs, bumps, dents, etc. at each process of inspection.
Intellectual Requirements
Minimum requirements for this position are a GED or High school education. Ability to perform relatively simple mathematical computations with high degree of accuracy. Employee must have general reading and writing abilities in the English language, and must possess sound judgment and good logical reasoning abilities.
Communication Requirements
The job also requires occasional frequent spoken communications, including talking and hearing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Must also be able to effectively follow instructions.
Situational Requirements
The employee must consistently appear for work at the appointed time and place, and work at least eight consecutive hours per day, five days per week. Overtime may be required to meet customer demands. The individual must be able to work efficiently in assembly line and inspection settings. Must be able to function efficiently and effectively under required standardize time study requirements.
