As a NPI Manufacturing Engineer you will be tasked with designing and developing the manufacturing process for new product introduction.
You will also be tasked with developing and delivering the manufacturing strategy that will be delivered to manufacturing.
Through these activities, metrics will improve in such areas as design for manufacturability, cost, quality, and safety to name a few.
Responsibilities:
- Develop processes, procedures and tooling used to implement new product introduction into manufacturing.
- Develop standards and best practices in design and implementation.
- Plan, define, implement, and deliver new manufacturing systems as needed for new product introductions.
- Establish production capabilities, equipment, facilities, and standard practices to contribute to the development of designs; coordinate with support groups to ensure capabilities and capacity are developed to support new products.
- Use FBS tools to manage, drive, and improve design for manufacturability on new products.
- Utilizing VAVE, support identifying and driving cost saving opportunities.

- Utilizing VAVE, support identifying and driving cost saving opportunities.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience engineering experience
- CAD design software knowledge such as SolidWorks or Pro E.
- Leadership experience within a team or project
- Ability to handle high pressures, prioritize workload and understand impact of duties required
- Respond to metric/goal driven environment, take initiative to meet goals
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving methodology
- Data analysis and statistical understanding
