Northrop Grumman Space Systems is searching for an experienced Manager, General Manufacturing 2 to join the Launch Vehicles business unit located in VAFB, CA.

Oversees and manages all operational aspects of a (one or more) manufacturing and/or production area(s), responsible for the safety of the employees, delivering quality products on time and within customer cost targets, and continuous improvement.

Provides leadership direction of design and process development, production, operations, engineering, test, and Quality Assurance functions.

Manages and presents status on cost, schedule, and performance for all projects within the area; assesses issues and develops mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, and delivery goals.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business or Related Field with 9 years minimum of experience.MS with 7 years.
