You might be just who we’re looking for We have a client in need of a skilled Welder to cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities or construction sites.

This person will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision.

About Our Client Our client is a multimillion-dollar manufacturer that is family and employee owned with three locations across the US and headquartered in Cleveland, OH.

As an industry leader in steel production, this is a wonderful opportunity to work for a large corporation that instills family culture in their daily operations.

Job Functions Weld on a production floor Accurately and legibly record required information and data Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g.

cut material with powered saws to match measurements) Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded Align components using calipers, rulers etc.

and clamp pieces Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead) Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Requirements Ability to MIG weld at the 2G level Know how to use fillet weld gauges Must pass hiring weld test (small raise after all welding stations are learned) Physically able to stand and work ten-hour shifts in factory conditions Physically able to lift more than 50 pounds, on occasion Benefits Competitive hourly rate 401k with employer match ESOP Program Paid vacation and holidays Growth opportunities
