Metal Utility Worker

Job ID: 21890 Position Description: As a company with SAFETY as their 1 priority, the AMETEK Hamilton Precision Metals plant custom re-roll precision metal strip and foil in their climate controlled, clean work environment.

Employees use their mechanical knowledge to rework the metal strip and foil for critical applications in the medical, aerospace, electronics, process control among others.

If you want to work for a team that is safety conscious yet requires you to use your hands then we are looking for you Primary Duties Include: 1.

Moving materials, parts and supplies from and to stock areas, processing, and shipping.

2.

Responsible for handling and processing incoming raw material for the inspection department as well as preparing materials for shipping.

Must maintain the shipping log, and prepare shipping information and certifications.

Other duties include assisting the maintenance department and cleaning work areas/equipment.

Individual may be required to operate equipment such as towmotor; Company vehicle, and electric and manual hand lift truck.

Job Requirements: Position Requirements:
• Must be comfortable working in a unionized, multi-machine job shop environment.

• Individuals should have experience working with metal alloy material.

• Experience working with grinding, mills, slitting, and cleaning machinery preferred.

•Individual must have a high school diploma or GED certification.
