RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and direct production activities in order to meet required production volumes and cycle times Develop and enforce company operating procedures and standards.
(i.e.
ISO 9000, QS 9000, GMP, G1002, ECR, union contact) Develop strategies for cost reduction through continuous improvements.
Support quality during team reviews of non-conformances (both internal and external) to determine root causes and corrective action Coach and motivate employees and direct team to meet quality and safety requirements Facilitate resolution of complex manufacturing issues through cross functional teams.
Ensure manufacturing areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner utilizing 5s principles Monitor inventory status and coordinate with the Planner(s) as needed to ensure an uninterrupted supply of components through the use of ERP system Develop, communicate and achieve KPIs that support corporate goals Identify, develop and implement systems to ensure robust and standardize manufacturing processes QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 1-2 years of experience supervising or leading a team Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment Experience with injection molding, metal fabrication, and/or medical device Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and synthesize complex or diverse information
