Salary $90,000 – $110,000 PLUS Excellent Benefits + Paid Relocation to the Southern USA

Our client is seeking a Senior level Manufacturing Engineer who will focus on Process Design to support plant operations. This is a great opportunity to work with a strong group of engineering professionals who are enjoying a fast paced and challenging work environment. You will support process development and production in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Big focus on ensuring the design of the process prevents and detects defects using the automotive risk-based approach.

As the Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be supporting cross functional teams during APQP process design and development phase for new and existing processes.  Ensure the documentation is in compliance with the government regulations, customer specs, and your own internal Quality Management Systems.  You’ll verify accurate process design information. Evaluate current product line process design documents, to identify improvements needed for quality and production compliance. Conducts gap analysis of process outputs. Provide appropriate training for tools and software used in the process design system. You’ll also participate in the Global Star Safety Framework (GSSF) program.

Job Requirements:

Requirements for this senior level Manufacturing Engineer:

·         Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering

·         Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing or project engineering

·         Must have Project Management, Product Launch, and Problem-Solving experience

·         Skilled at Continuous Improvement & Cost Savings Initiatives

·         Advanced knowledge of Process Design Organization Software such as MPACT

·         Ability to lead cross-functional teams

·         Excellent communication skills.
