Description
- Manage projects relating to all operations of plants and production systems.
- Provide design recommendations and alternatives for review, including costing and scheduling.
- Locate best vendors for machining, assembly, construction, and installation, as required, and supervises same.
- Provide drawings and written instructions, as required, for additions or modifications to systems and plants.
- Investigate new methods, equipment, and materials related to our systems, and make recommendations for their possible use.
- Make recommendations that will improve quality, increase production, reduce scrap, or otherwise improve our market position.
- Respond to emergency situations, as necessary.
- Discuss unusual problems/issues to build consensus prior to taking action.
- Hold design reviews with appropriate stakeholders to get their input and buy-in.
- Actively support the work of other engineers through discussions, design reviews, and the review of drawings for form, fit, and function before approving them.
- Has overall responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality/performance of delivered systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager.
Profile
- Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering in applicable field
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Good understanding of basic machinery
- Experience with 3D CAD
- Good understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5, preferred

- Base salary in the range of 70k-100k, depending on experience and skills
