*Scope and Purpose: *
To develop and improve flows that will result in cost-effective methods of manufacturing and fair and equitable manufacturing operating standards. To participate in continuous improvement projects throughout company that will continuously improve the processes used to satisfy G3 Industries customer base.
*Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility: *
* Participates at initiation phase of new product lines to assist in designing cost-effective manufacturing layouts and building tools using ergonomic principles.
* Develops and designs workplace layouts to reduce awkward positions, repetitive motions, and inefficient operations.
* Measures variances to standards, identifies out-of-control variances, investigates causes, and suggests solutions.
* Keeps division performance within budgeted performance parameters.
* Keeps abreast of technology changes and installs the most effective manufacturing methods to keep the company at a competitive edge at all times.
* Implements method changes that reduce cost of production and progress toward reaching budgeted goal.
* Develops methods for measuring work performance against standards.
* Works to develop management information systems for planning and control purposes.
* Setup Improvements and Smart Work Centers.
* Increase Yield
* Eliminating DMR’s and working on Corrective
*Education: *
* Experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
* Engineering experience in an industrial environment: 1 to 3 years.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively as a member of the engineering team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $36.00 per hour
