Role Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and introduces process and product modifications, standards, and improvements through knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes, while increasing product quality, output, and cost effectiveness.
  • Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
  • Using lean manufacturing tools, recommend changes in current production methods, standards, tooling, procedures, equipment, plant layout,
  • product design, and employee output as a basis for increasing production, reducing cost, improving safety, morale, and quality.
  • Lead engineering projects through all phases.
  • Review and verify accuracy of existing procedures, bills of material, and route sheets.
  • Initiate engineering change orders per the engineering change order procedure.
  • Manage daily line issues as it relates to equipment and production.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in a technical engineering area is required.
  • 0-3+ years previous manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience managing projects using lean manufacturing tools and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership skills with the ability to direct, motivate, and provide clear direction in a production work environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, experience with AutoCad and or SolidWorks preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to internal customers, including production employees.
