Weather Barr Windows and Doors is looking to hire full-time employees for Production positions at our Fort Smith, Arkansas location. Are you interested in working overtime?

Pay: $14.00 an hour plus a 4% shift differential

• Upon successful completion of probation you will be raised to $14.60, $14.80, or $15.00 per hour depending on the complexity of the job. Your 4% shift differential will be added to that.

Shift: 1st Shift

• Sunday – Thursday 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• Every other week you will be scheduled to work on Friday 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Overtime is required.

Position Summary: Assemble custom windows according to specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Installing the IGU by applying the silicone beads on the window frame and the sash frame using either the automated silicone applicator or handheld silicone applicator.
• Blocking the frame and sash.
• Installing the glazing beads using mallets or glazing tool.
• Verifying that the window is complete and is not missing any components or has any visual blemishes.
• Work at a pace that is required to meet the daily fabrication report.
• Handle both large and small vinyl frames / sash and corresponding glass required for assembly.
• Responsible for keeping the work space clean and free of clutter daily per cleaning checklist and practices.
• Must be flexible to fill in as needed in Assembly department as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 to 70lbs.
• The ability to read and write in English.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to learn all jobs within your department is essential.
