- Use data to investigate, contain, and resolve quality issues through root cause identification
- Troubleshoot shop floor issues that impact both production and the customer experience
- Work with cross functional teams to design inherent quality validation into processes
- Lead quality planning and execution discussions (PMFEA, Control Plan, Dimensional analysis, QIT) and maintain historical performance documentation and metrics for team
- Lead and actively participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) improving and implementing departmental Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Delivery, ergonomic improvement and cost reduction ideas.
- Execute engineering workflow activities to support design and process changes
- Support future production workflows
- Support model year changes
- Plan and implement new product introductions including assembly methods, work layout,
- tools, and fixtures
- Plan and implement new tools and/or fixtures and assembly methods to support Running
- Changes
- Work with contract tooling vendors for new tool development and maintenance of
- existing tooling for business improvements
- Implement projects on time and within budget outlined.
- Establish clear schedules and Work Breakdown Structure
- Implement continuous improvement, methods improvement, and cost reduction
- Implement Line Balance and YamClientumi for increasing assembly line efficiency Shop floor support: Safety, Quality, Delivery
