As a Manufacturing Technician on our Fluke team, you will perform machining operations to produce close tolerance, precision products. These items are a key part of our pressure and flow product line and are providing pressure and flow calibration solutions worldwide. Responsibilities:+ Operate in a safe and responsible manner + Work from work instructions, procedures, and drawings. + Use gages and measurement instruments to meet tolerance requirements. + Uses drill press, precision weighing scales, lathes, mill, hones, and laps. + Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and work areas + Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods + Impacts the quality of own work + Uses communication skills to exchange of information Qualifications:+ Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team + Excellent mechanical skills + Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety + Solid verbal communication skill + Proficient in math + Basic computer skills + Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks. + High School degree or equivalent + Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly Fortive Overview: Fortive is a provider of essential technologies for connected workflow solutions across a range of attractive end-markets.
