As a Service Technician, you will provide technical and hands-on support on increasingly complex products. Your strong technical and analytical skills will allow you to find and resolve product failures to serve our customer quickly and accurately. Your expertise in troubleshooting, testing and correcting malfunctions in medical devices, and test equipment will aid you in repairing the instruments that are returned for service.
Key Responsibilities:
o Coordinate flow of return product not limited to receiving incoming product, decontamination, and outbound shipping of service-related items
o Disassemble, trouble-shoot, replace components, re-assemble, and test electro-mechanical medical devices following work instructions
o Perform functional testing on medical devices connected to test automated fixtures following work instructions in an electro-static discharge (ESD) controlled environment.
o Complete all test procedures and update device history documentation.
o Operate test equipment for functional tests on electronic medical device and troubleshoot to component level failures
o Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy by following established SOPs and manufacturing instructions as follows:
