An outstanding and nationally known Healthcare System is looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join their Oregon Coast Hospital and help lead the Social Work department and assist with Mental Health and Hospice.

The Medical Social Worker will play a vital role in the community and in the Hospice department. Some of the Social Worker expectations include:

  • Providing Social Services for psychosocial assessments, family counseling, support, resources and education intervention.
  • Providing home setting social work for end-of-life patients.
  • Providing intermittent skilled nursing visits.
  • Pain and symptom management support.
  • Traveling to home settings by automobile

The Hospice LCSW should be able to communicate to people internal and external, to the organization, government agencies, patient families, and other external sources. Knowledge of human behavior and performance is greatly appreciated, especially with a psychology focus.
