A Brief Summary of This Position:

The Global Customer Experience, Dealer Tools Support Specialist is responsible for the support of Valley Irrigation’s software products that provide our Dealers support in planning their orders.

The Dealer Tools Support Specialist will be the first line of contact for all Valley Dealers and Valley International to help assist and troubleshoot any issues with Valley products, such as V2O, Blueprint, Design Tools, and Field Layout Tool.

This position will have a very diverse range of products from software to mechanical products, requiring the individual to have a strong technical background, and excellent documentation habits.

The position will be part of a team that receives dealer, customer, and internal employee’s support requests and will be responsible for ensuring that the requests are completed or deferred to the proper department in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:
Develops and implements new product rollout plans that the Service groups will need for training Creates and executes the release of new product training plan Maintains current knowledge of emerging and advances technologies and work collaboratively with engineering to identify potential new products that could be integrated into the Valley product line Plans successful product launches in conjunction with product development, marketing and sales Supports development of marketing materials to provide the necessary input for changes to existing collateral materials regarding Irrigation products Recommends product changes and enhancements to existing products based on input from customers, dealers and internal personnel Identification of new irrigation product opportunities Responsible for maintaining a close, positive working relationship with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering and Operations Leads cross-functional new product development teams to ensure timely product introductions into the market place and the product is developed per market requirements Ensure the timely resolution of service issues Acts as the first line interface for reliability and durability issues that are presented by end-user customers or dealer personnel Collect and analyze product reliability information related to the product lines and advanced technologies which includes technology trends, opportunities and customers’ expectations Participates in the development of the annual service training Participates in the crafting of the product strategic plan This position reports into Senior Manager Customer Experience and has no direct reports This role requires up to 10% travel (domestically), including overnight stays

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Bachelors with 3+ years relevant experience or Associates Degree with 5+ years relevant experience or 7+ years of relevant experience Three (3) years of Helpdesk, Technical Support or relevant technical experience Organizational skills to manage high call volume during peak seasons Ability to follow-up and pursue outside solutions for dealers Understanding and flexibility with program testing and releases Expertise in the use of influence, team participation, consensus building and dealer/customer/grower communication Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

Highly Qualified Candidates will Possess:
Two years’ experience working directly with dealer sales and/or service personnel Two years’ of irrigation design experience in an agricultural or industrial equipment manufacturing industry
